Message supply line to the front? I'm curious why you'd run two separate fuel lines (one existing, one added) just to merge them at the engine? I agree they need to be flow-balanced anyway, I'm just curious why you're doing it in the engine bay versus right at the tank. Purely accessibility or something else?

Are check valves required for the redundancy or does a dead pump act as a check valve (ie. if one died would the other just be pumping in a loop back to the tank)?
